The Lies Keep Coming: Trump's Japanese Lie

Trump just wrapped up his Asia tour. While visiting Japan, he declared Toyota would be looking to invest $10 billion in the United States. Amidst his disastrous tariffs ( on Nov. 5 the Supreme Court will determine if he can legally make these tariffs ), it is important to go back to the basics. The Constitution gives Congress the power to regulate foreign commerce, impose tariffs, and collect revenue. It is one thing for Congress to pass legislation allowing Presidential intervention in certain circumstancs, quite another to allow the President to unilaterally decide what impacts the commerce of this country. What next, despite the Constitution, is Trump going to decide to overtake the Judicial branch and make his own decisions and not the courts? The Supreme Court better watch out, if they don't draw clear lines they are next. One way or another, he will unilaterally attempt to decide cases himself (Hasn't he already? Pardoning and commuting the sentences of violent Janua...

Independence of The Judiciary Threatened: Mechanism to Destroying Democracy

Staunch Trump supporter U.S. Representative Jim Jordan (defended Trump during impeachment inquiries, supported overturning the 2020 election results , and who received the Medal of Freedom from Trump), chairs the House Judiciary Committee. He said in an interview impeachment of judges who issue "stupid rulings thwarting President Trump" is "on the table." Impeachment is a mechanism to remove a judge or justice who commits serious criminal or ethical misconduct, it is not a mechanism for removing judges who issue unfavorable rulings. According to one news source, Republican lawmakers are targeting the following judges for impeachment: Paul Engelmeyer (limited DOGE's access to sensitive Treasury data), John Bates (ordered the Trump administration to restore health agency webpages), Amir Hatem Mahdi Ali (ordered the Trump administration to temporarily reinstate foreign aid funding) and John McConnell, Jr. (ordered the Trump administration to lift its federal spen...

Beware: Trump threatens to "Send more than the National Guard into U.S. cities"

Presidents of the United States do not use the military against their own cities. We have police for crime control. Police receive extensive training on how to effect crime control our military does not (yes, there are military police in the armed forces this is now what Trump is solely using). Today, Trump vows to "send more than the National Guard" into U.S. cities. What is the purpose? Well, the real purpose is to scare Democrats. So far, Trump has sent the National Guard only to Democratic cities: Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland (Oregon), and Memphis (Tennessee). According to 2024 FBI crime rates, the majority of Democrat run cities have crime rates similar to the Republican- affiliated mayor of cities (some cities elect their mayors with party affiliation). When you break it down to states, according to Congressional research, the murder rate in the 25 states that voted for Trump exceeds the murder rate for the 25 states that voted for Joe Biden ev...

Trump Claims Reagan Video Quotes "Fake" & "Fraudelent"

Canada is done playing kiss Donald Trump's ass. They released an Ontario ad airing actual Reagan quotes in 1987. Yet, Trump claims the Reagan ad is fake. You be the judge: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/fact-checking-claims-that-a-canadian-ad-was-misleading-about-reagans-tariff-warning. It appears, the Reagan Foundation is running scared despite the Ontario ad (they consulted their lawyers) replaying Reagan's exact words in the public domain. Many have ran scared of Trump's lawsuits. One thing for certain is truth is a defense to libel and slander. A quick AI dive reveals from 1973 until he was President in 2016, Trump was involved in over 4,000 legal cases. It is reported Trump loses 93% of the cases in court . More specifics on his lawsuits can be found here: https://www.usatoday.com/pages/interactives/trump-lawsuits/. Where there is smoke, there is fire. His lies and threats of lawsuits (to prevent exposing his lies) are intolerable.

Up It to $40 Billion to Argentina

While our government goes into day 25 of the shutdown with no end in sight, the previous reported number of $20 billion for aid to Argentina is incorrect. The Trump administration is looking to increase that number to $40 billion. Meanwhile, those on the Affordable Care Act may see their premiums go up 30%. The main reason for the shutdown is Trump and the Republicans are not in favor of renewing the expiring health insurance premium tax credits. An estimated 5 million Americans are expected to lose their health insurance without these tax credits in 2026. Trump's priority at the moment is tearing down the historic East Wing of the White House (traditionally where First Ladies conducted business) to build a huge ballroom Congress did not approve or appropriate funds for. The fact he is considering naming it after himself, no surprise. It is not possible for Trump to be more tone deaf to the needs of his people. Much like the aristocracy in the French Revolution, the Republi...

Trump is DIrecting Boats Off Coasts Be Shot WIth Countries Not At War With The US

As of Oct. 19, 2025 Trump said the US military strikes on 5 Venezuelan boats have saved 100,000 lives. The true stats are about 25% of the time the Coast Guard boards a ship, there are no drugs. Drug experts confirm Venezuela plays a minor role in trafficking drugs to the US. Are these attacks legal? "At the international level, I have not seen a single international lawyer who thinks that it's permissible for a country to blow up the civilians of another country on the high seas unless they were actually posing an imminent attack." When two countries are at war, it is obvious these types of attacks occur. The US is not at war with Venezuela. If America's actions were legal, why did Trump release two survivors of a recent boat attack? Clearly, there was no legal reason to hold them. Another very bad sign Trump is not adhering to international laws on the seas, Admiral Alvin Holsey, who oversees the Southern Command, stepped down eight days ago as the Pentag...

Trump Seeks $230 Million in Damages From Justice Department

So, Trump, by all accounts an exceptional con man and grifter, is now seeking $230 million in damages from the Justice Department. He wants the nation to forget the ethical conflicts of his former defense lawyers running the Justice Department. The Federal Tort Claims Act allows for monetary damages for "personal injury, property damage, or death" arising from the alleged negligence of federal employees acting within the scope of their official duties. What actually is happening? Well, for one it is a huge grift. Had Trump's investigations and subsequent prosecutions been allowed to conclude, I doubt Trump would have been found Not Guilty. In other words, of course the government does not owe him money for rightfullly investigating illegal activities (the classified documents found on his property seem to be a pretty open and shut case). Since, he was elected- that put an end to all his investigations and prosecutions, so here we are. We, the taxpayers, are being ...

During the Government Shutdown Trump Builds a Ballroom

Demolition on the East Wing started today for Trump's $250 million ballroom . When Trump first mentioned the ballroom ( something he has wanted for 15 years ), he said he would pay for it on his own and the East wing would not be touched. This is reminiscent of Marie Antoinette's "Let them eat cake." Meanwhile, "Inflation and a worsening job market are top of mind for many Americans, even among the president’s Maga base."

Trump Posts Himself Wearing a Crown

Trump's response to the huge nationwide No Kings peaceful protest was to post a video of himself wearing a crown flying a fighter jet dumping fecal material on an American city. So for all the Americans who think the No Kings protest was in vain- their is your answer, from the wannabe dictator himself. I find this particularly disturbing as my dad, an Army veteran, retired from General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) where they make the F16s and F35s. Now that there is no question as to Trump's motives, can our lawmakers, judges and justices get to following their oaths to uphold the Constitution?

Trump Does What Putin Says.... (actions speak louder than words, judge Trump's actions)

Trump repeatedly threatens Russia with sanctions that generally don't materialize. Trump has said Ukraine started the war. Trump said "I didn't start this war, this was a Biden deal....." The craziness must stop. Trump is either senile or mentally disbled to make such outlandish claims. It's not a coincidence Trump did not impose tarrifs on Russia . A timeline of Trump's delay on Russian sanctions during his first term should have been telling. How does Trump really feel about Ukraine? "But Trump, who had promised to end the conflict swiftly, has been less committed to support for Ukraine. Instead, he has reestablished direct contact with Putin.."

So Much for Freedom of the Press

US news outlets reject Pentagon press access policy . At least 30 news organizations rejected the agreement the Pentagon came up with for them to have news access. “What they’re really doing, they want to spoon-feed information to the journalist, and that would be their story. That’s not journalism,” said Jack Keane, a retired U.S. Army general and Fox News analyst, said on Hegseth’s former network. David Schulz, the Media and Freedom of Information Access Clinic Director of Yale Law School, reports danger to journalists in signing the agreement. "Affirming up front that harm can occur from reporting information if it's not officially approved is anathema to a free market, a free democracy. And it's information that could be used against a reporter in future litigation." Trump approves of the Pentagon press agreement. I feel like I am living in a third world country with a dictator. This is not America.

Trump on Talking to Democrats Regarding the Shutdown

As of October 6, Karoline Leavitt said “His position is very clear,” Leavitt said of Trump, “There’s nothing to negotiate.” The White House and Republican talking points are lies when they say the Democrats have caused this shutdown in order to give federally funded health care to undocumented immigrants. How is this a lie? Well for starters, federal law prohibits undocumented immigrants from receiving federally funded healthcare. ( documentation on the above ) The Republicans control both the House and the Senate, yet still can't pass a budget. The big issue is Democrats not wanting to get rid of tax credits which make health insurance affordable for many. The Democrats also are fighting for a reversal of Trump's cuts to Medicaid, a government healthcare programme used by millions of elderly, disabled and low-income people . The Republicans need to get rid of this healthcare spending to afford the tax cuts to the uber wealthy . Meanwhile t he shutdown is costing the US eco...

What the F@#! is Going On About A Quatari Airbase in Idaho?

Secretary of the Defense Pete Hegseth clearly stated on Friday the Pentagon was “signing a letter of acceptance to build a Qatari Emiri air force facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho.” So now JD Vance is suggesting Hegseth's statement is a "fake story." So which is it? The Trump administration has officially accepted a jet from Quatar. Is this even legal? According to one news source, "Democratic Senator Adam Schiff quoted a section of the US Constitution that said no elected official could accept "any present... of any kind whatever" from the leader of a foreign state without congressional approval. Frank Cogliano, a professor of American history at the University of Edinburgh, says this clause "was intended to prevent bribery to influence the government". 'It is certainly stretching the Constitution and we have not seen a gift on this scale, or of this nature', says Professor Andrew Moran, a constitutional law expert at L...

Trump Rescues Argentina Economy To The Tune of $20 Billion

So much for the America First Trump promise. While our federal government is shut down, Trumps boosts Argentina's economy with a $20 billion lifeline purchase of pesos . This is aimed at helping Javier Milei win his midterm election as he is in dire trouble with the peso problem . Seriously. This is Trump talking out of both sides of his mouth, definitely not America First.

Anti- FASCISM is a position against dictatorship, not a terrorist group

So Trump is allowing boats to be shot down because they are supposedly trafficking drugs. No court, no capture, no trials- just military style execution of destroying boats by shooting them down and killing those within it. Now Pam Bondi, the Attorney General of the United States is vowing to destroy Antifa "just like we did with the cartels." Antifa means Anti- Fascism. It is a political belief, not a terrorist organization. It is people who are against fascism . . This is an attempt by Trump to destroy his opposition. People who are against fascism (like our troops in World War II) are against dictatorship. I do not, nor ever will believe a dictator is right for America. At the same time, I am against violence. I do not believe violence is ever the answer in politics. I am aghast President Trump and his Attorney General have attempted to silence people who are against fascism.

Trump Wants to Deny Some Federal Workers Back Pay During Shutdown Despite the Law

The federal govenment shutdown has been going on since October 1, 2025 (a full week). Trump has suggested some of these workers will receive no backpay despite a 2019 law guaranteeing it . He is saying he can pick and choose which federal workers get back pay. He said, "There are some people that really don't deserve to be taken care of." (see previous linked article). These federal workers are working. They did not sign up to work jobs without pay. This would violate all kinds of labor laws if a private employer chose not to pay their employees for work. Why is this happening? Twenty four million Americans do not have health insurance through their jobs and pay for it through the Marketplace Exchange (ACA or the Affordable Care Act). The Republicans are in a feud not to extend the subsidies for ACA . In addition, Trump is threatening in the shutdown to permanently eliminate jobs. In 2019 journalist Ece Temelkuran discussed the 7 steps to turn a country from a demo...

Trump Responsible for the Government Shutdown- Tell Republicans Not To Talk to Democrats

So the federal government ran out of money to function. What was Trump's role in all of this as leader of the nation? Donald Trump said, "Don't even bother with Democrats when it comes to talking about a budget." The shutdown is on his shoulders . The looming shutdown had Democrats in Congress meeting, while the Republicans took a vacation . You can't make this stuff up. Acting like a five year old throwing a temper tantrum and "taking your ball home" is not leadership. This childishness must stop.
