Trump in Full Dictator Mode: Fascism is Dictatorship...

Trump signed an executive order Monday declaring ANTIFA a "domestic terrorist organization." It directs Trump administration officials to investigate and thwart "any and all illegal operations" and to pursue people who fund such operations. Here are the basic and most obvious problems of this dictator move, for starters we have the first amendment to the Constituion: First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievance." The Supreme Court has recognized the "freedom of association" (not explicity listed but obvious-out of necessity to exercise the other rights) since the 1950s. Whether it's Toastmasters, Masons, Elks, Shriners, Lions Clubs or the Communist or Socialist parties, these groups and others have a legal right to exist in the United States. What is ANTIFA? Simply put it means anti-Fascism. What is Fascism? Wikepedia defines Fascism as: Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement that rose to prominence in early-20th-century Europe.[1][2][3] Fascism is characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived interest of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.[3][4] Opposed to communism, democracy, liberalism, pluralism, and socialism,[5][6] fascism is at the far right of the traditional left–right spectrum.[1][6][7] Leaders of the Axis of Evil in World War II: Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini were Fascists. Our silent generation fought against and defeated Fascism. The President does not have the power to declare groups as terrorist organizations. Under US law, only the Secretary of State has the legal authority to designate foreign groups as foreign terrorist organizations. Why is this important? Here are the serious repercussions of being designated an official terrorist organization: 1. US financial institutions are required to freeze the group's assets. 2. It becomes a federal crime to knowingly provide "material support" to the designated group. 3. Members of designated groups can be banned from entering the United States. This is a tactic for Trump to go after anyone who opposes his fascist moves and authority. This is dictatorship 101. It's time to ring the alarm bells. This is seriously autocratic and dangerous to democracy.
