No Surprise- Trump and Lies Regarding Epstein Proof

The House Oversight committee released more documents from Jeffrey Epstein's estate. Two are very damning. One is a birthday card from Trump to Epstein "May every day be another wonderful secret" and a picture with Epstein and a long time Mar a Lago member joking about selling a "fully depreciated" woman to Trump for $22,500. These are physical pieces of evidence from Epstein's estate. Trump is of course calling everything a lie- not his signature, etc. Facts- numerous pictures and much evidence prove the Trump-Epstein close friendship. Let's not forget Trump declaring on Jan. 23, 2016, while campaigning in Iowa "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Enough America. Who in their right mind would think this, much less say it at a campaign event? He truly believes he can get away with murder. Maxwell, Epstein's girlfiend, was convicted of child sex trafficking and sentenced to 20 years. Time to draw the line in the sand. No wonder so many Republicans keep voting to keep the Epstein files secret. From a Trial Lawyer's Evidentiary Perspective: 1. If the shoe were on the other foot, example- a President's minor daughter was victimized- US attorneys would be directed to prosecute wherever and whenever possible. 2. The Justice Department would use the seized evidence from Epstein's estate as direct evidence. It would not matter if the Defendant called it a "lie." The Judge would admit the documents with proper predicate laid, and the jury would weigh the evidence. 3. Prosecutors would argue to a jury where the defendant tried to "hide" evidence or "prevent the release of evidence" these are acts reflecting guilt. American Reality: 1. No one supports a child sex offender. In Texas this would equate to lifetime sex offender registration under many scenarios. 2. Child sex offenders are often killed in prison by other inmates. 3. Child sex offenders have mental illness. The evidence is damning. President Trump does not need to be anywhere near power. He belongs in jail. He is a disgrace. Anyone who claims to be a conservative and is ok with Trump is not a real conservative (see study on Factors Impacting Attitudes Toward Sex Offenders: The Role of Conservatism and Knowledge, this does not even address child sex offenders).
